The focus of this business unit is to secure opportunities with clients by utilising the ECI, D&C, Management Construction or Construction Management forms of procurement. Minor Works, Non-process Infrastructure & Modular Building

Zenacon provides minor works construction and modular building installation. With a strong background in mining camps and minor works for non-process infrastructure, the team at Zenacon apply their combined expertise and knowledge to the design and construction of innovative solutions.

Our experience in delivering design and construct NPI projects and minor works projects mean that we have the technical knowledge and workforce capable of delivering cost-effective options to our clients. We are experts in managing all components of NPI including structural steel, electrical and mechanical areas in addition to managing all engineering and approvals for clients, including planning, and obtaining building licenses. We provide turnkey solutions, specialising in workshops, control rooms, laboratories, administration complexes, emergency services facilities and mining camps of all sizes.

Zenacon work in partnership with modular manufacturers to provide both modular and in-situ buildings with fabrication of transportable buildings being local Western Australian manufacturers who are directly affiliated with Jirindi Solutions from a labour hire and indigenous training standpoint. Our compliance team manage the compliance pathways for all materials used capitalising using our buy local value where possible. A key to ensuring the smooth execution of the project is Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), which allows our multidisciplinary team to work with our client from concept to project delivery. Through smart design we can assist in reducing the overall project cost, whilst adding value to the project.

Civil Construction

Zenacon specialise in providing wet and dry hire civil construction equipment and competent personnel to the mining, civil, road construction and associated industries throughout Western Australia.

Labour Hire

Western Australia is geared to experience a resources sector boom predominately fuelled by the mining sector. This at the same time as the effects of COVID-19 are challenging many companies’ ability to source quality candidates due to health, quarantine and the restricted or closed border status quo.

Zenacon has identified indigenous and non-indigenous labour hire as a critical commodity that may impact the success of these resources sector projects. Jirindi has identified previously under-utilised or untapped pools of basic and semi-skilled workers in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions of Western Australia who will not be impacted by WA borders remaining closed or restricted for the foreseeable future.

Zenacon is working with a number of Aboriginal Corporations throughout the Goldfields, Pilbara and Kimberley regions to tailor make their training and apprenticeship programs according to the specific needs of Zenacon and its customers.
